Beige uni ECO is made of Harmolan: a 100% upcycled material made of polypropylene - a synthetic textile fibre. No water is needed for the production of Harmolan. In addition, the fabrics do not absorb water and are dirt-repellent and quick-drying. It is one of the lightest textile fibres and has a high wear resistance.
Also nice to know: we found the fabric factory close to home, in Belgium. That's where the yarns are produced and woven and a super strong furniture fabric is created. And therefore a low carbon footprint!
Please note: due to the production method, this ECO fabric is more prone to creasing than our other fabrics. Creasing is a normal phenomenon with fabric sofas and if you pull your hand over the fabric, the crease will disappear again.
