When you invest in your dream sofa, you naturally want it to stay beautiful and stain-free for as long as possible. That's why we recommend ordering the Protexx stain service when you purchase your sofa. This gives you a full 3 years of service for the most common stains. The Protexx spray ensures that your fabric furniture is optimally protected against stains from food and drinks.
How does the Protexx stain service work?
When you purchase your sofa, you can order the Protexx stain service for 3 years. Once your sofa is ready and delivered, you'll receive a kit containing the spray to impregnate it immediately. You apply Protexx to your new fabric sofa yourself by spraying it in even strokes.
1. Order the Protexx stain service with your new sofa.
2. Upon receiving the sofa, spray the fabric yourself with the included Protexx spray. Follow the included instructions carefully.
3. Do you have a stain? Use the included multi-purpose cleaner to remove the stain yourself.
4. If the stain persists, please contact Protexx within 3 business days. They will arrange professional assistance.
Tip: Before the end of your warranty period, take advantage of a 50% discount on professional cleaning of your entire sofa (€120 instead of €240).
6. Keep your invoice and service certificate in a safe place . You'll need these documents when you contact Protexx for service or support.
Which stains are covered by Protexx's service?
Foods such as:
- Tomato sauce, gravy;
- Butter, milk and other oil-based stains;
- Peanut butter, chocolate, pasta, jam;
- Ketchup, mayonnaise, curry.
Human and mammalian excretion and shedding, such as:
- Skin fat;
- Vomit;
- Urine;
- Blood;
- Stool;
- Perspiration.
Drinks, such as:
- Wine, beer and liquor;
- Coffee, tea, hot chocolate;
- Cola and fruit juice.
Which stains are NOT covered by Protexx's service?
PLEASE NOTE: Stains on your fabric sofa from normal use, ink stains, candle wax, and denim stains are NOT covered by the service. Here are the most common stains that are not covered by the service:
- jeans stains (be careful with jeans, you will never be able to get these stains out again);
- ink;
- make-up and nail polish;
- lubricate/oil.
How much does the Protexx stain service cost?
Protexx costs €30 per seat. There are three packages:
- 1-seater: €30.00
- 3-seater: €90.00
- 5-7 seats: €150 (value pack)
For each large element (5/6/7/8/16/17/20/22) we count as 2 seats, the smaller elements are 1 seat.
