What started as a dream for two childhood friends, Suzanne and Ellen, quickly grew into a vibrant sofa concept. Our mission? To make buying a sofa fun and easy!

With over 20 years of retail experience in fashion and home furnishings, Suzanne and Ellen decided to join forces. Their journey began over seven years ago, in 2017, when they were based in a squatted building, serving as a studio and driven by a shared passion for creating the ideal sofa. Together, they devised a clear concept: six models, 24 colors, and fixed prices. They also included an online platform and a functional showroom that simplify and enhance the search for the perfect sofa.
In August 2024, Ellen left 4x6 sofa and Suzanne and the team continued running the company.
the origin of our concept
During a trip to New York, the women were inspired by a pop-up store with a simple yet effective idea: three jeans styles, two lengths, in different colors for a fixed price. The concept was so easy and intuitive that buying jeans simply became a pleasure. And that's not something you hear often. So the idea was born: why shouldn't choosing a sofa be just as easy? With our sofa concept, we strive for that same effortlessness. Just six styles, 24 colors, and fixed prices. That's nice and clear and transparent. We're moving away from traditional furniture collections. Because the sofa isn't just a piece of furniture; it's the beating heart of every home.
