What is the delivery time of my sofa?
The average delivery time for our sofas is 8 to 10 weeks. Each one is custom-made especially for you.
Which modular sofas are quickly available for delivery in the Netherlands?
Because our sofas are handmade to order, there is usually a delivery time of 8 to 10 weeks. Good news: a number of our most popular combinations are immediately available from stock and can therefore be delivered quickly. For example, model X6 in color 09 beige melange can be delivered to your home within 2 weeks of ordering, in any desired configuration, including matching ottomans and cushions. Model X6 price set B in color 18 is also available from stock. This way, you can quickly enjoy a custom modular sofa.
How do I schedule a delivery appointment?
Once your sofa arrives at our warehouse, you'll receive a link via email and text message to the website of our delivery service, TSN Groen. This will open a portal where you can schedule your preferred delivery date in just a few steps. This is within two weeks of arrival at our warehouse. During these steps, you can also select special options, such as taking your old sofa with you or requesting a moving lift.
My sofa has already arrived at the warehouse, but I'm not ready to receive it yet – what now?
This is not a problem. Our carrier will store your sofa free of charge for two weeks in the warehouse. After that, they will charge a fee of €12.50 per week.
Do you also deliver to the Wadden Islands?
We don't deliver directly to the Wadden Islands, but we do deliver to a port on the mainland, for example. From there, you'll need to arrange your own onward transport to the island. We're always happy to discuss the options with you.
Can I order my sofa now, but have it delivered later than the expected delivery time?
Yes, that's possible! When you place your order, please let us know when you'd like your sofa delivered. We'll then take this into account when submitting your order to our factory.
What are the shipping costs of my ordered item within the Netherlands?
For delivery in the Netherlands, we charge €99 for 1 to 2 items, plus €10 per additional item. Stair delivery is free up to the 4th floor to your front door. For higher floors or indoor delivery, additional costs may apply, depending on the carrier. Is a moving lift required? This costs €195 (valid throughout the Netherlands).
What are the shipping costs of my ordered item within Belgium?
In Belgium, delivery costs €139 for 1 to 2 items, plus €30 per additional item. Staircase delivery is free up to the 4th floor, right up to the front door. Additional charges may apply for higher floors or indoor deliveries, depending on the carrier.
What are my shipping options outside the Netherlands and Belgium?
We currently only ship within the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. If you live in another country and still want a 4x6 sofa, you'll need to arrange and pay for the transport yourself. We're happy to discuss the options with you.
Is the sofa assembled upon delivery?
Yes, the benches are assembled on-site by our carrier. You don't need to do anything yourself. The plastic and cardboard are also neatly taken away.
How do I ensure that my sofa fits upon delivery?
Not sure if the sofa will fit through your stairwell, elevator, or doorway? Please contact us at hello@4x6sofa.com . We're happy to send you the exact packaging dimensions so you can check this beforehand. Alternatively, you can always consider a stairlift.
Can I bring my old sofa with me when my new sofa is delivered?
Yes, when making the delivery appointment, you can check a box in one of the steps to have your old sofa taken away. This costs €73.50 and is at your own expense.
Can I pick up my ordered sofa from your warehouse myself?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to pick up the sofa yourself. For outlet models, this is possible. You can read more about this here .
Do you also deliver in the evenings or at the weekend?
Standard delivery times are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 20:00. You can also schedule a Saturday delivery with the supplier for € 9.

Of toch wel?!\',\'text\':\'Na een súperlange zoektocht naar iets wat we in ons hoofd hadden en nérgens konden vinden, kwamen we per toeval via een blog van iemand op de site van 4x6 sofa. En ja, wat wij in ons hoofd hadden bestond gewoon echt!!
Daar moesten we heen! En het was wel goed dat we dat hadden gedaan, want het is wel echt een aanrader om even te gaan zitten en de bank te beleven. Ook om te bepalen welke kussens goed zijn ter ondersteuning voor je persoonlijke zit.
En natuurlijk om de stoffen te zien en te voelen!
Op internet hebben we de ideale bank samengesteld en het is werkelijk waar een droomopstelling!
De bank had een normale levertijd, wat je tegenwoordig overal hebt, 10-12 weken.
Toen de bank werd bezorgd was het wel even een speciaal moment. Wat je zelf hebt samengesteld qua opstelling en kleur, staat er dan eindelijk!
Wauw, wauw wauw, wat een droombank!
Maar vanuit de fabriek waren er wat vlekken op de bank gekomen, dat zag je al door het plastic heen toen het werd geleverd. We hebben er meteen melding van gemaakt en 4x6 heeft hier heel adequaat op gehandeld en de vlekken hebben we weg gekregen met een goed schoonmaakmiddel wat ze ons hebben toegestuurd. Fijne service! We hebben goed contact met ze gehad en ze waren zeer klant gericht, geduldig, vriendelijk, helemaal top. Ook geen dagen lang wachten op antwoord, nee, je kreeg vrij snel al een persoonlijk antwoord. Geen ai mailtjes, maar echt persoonlijk contact. Dat komt ook professioneel over, nu steeds meer bedrijven ai ingestelde berichten versturen naar klanten, wat totaal niet persoonlijk over komt. Dus chapeau voor 4x6 Sofa!
Mensen die bij ons thuis komen, hebben allemaal dezelfde reactie. Hun mond valt open en ze krijgen grote ogen bij het zien van onze prachtige bank. Het is ook echt dé eyecatcher van onze woning.
We zijn zó blij met de bank!!
Heb je een bank gezien bij 4x6 die je mooi vindt, maar twijfel je toch? Ga dan even naar de showroom en beleef het. En ga dan vervolgens lekker thuis je bank samenstellen op je computer, met hun mega handige editor. Dan kun je de bank in 360 graden zien, zo leuk!

Wij wilden onze woonkamer optimaal benutten en kozen voor twee zitgedeeltes. Zo kunnen we ons aan de ene kant terug trekken met een boek en aan de andere kant kan met het gezin tv kijken.
Best spannend omdat het toch lastig in te beelden is hoe dit in de praktijk uitpakt.
In de showroom in Naarden hebben wij alle banken getest en met onze favoriete bank de droom opstelling samengesteld.
Doordat de medewerkster onze woonkamer op schaal had uitgewerkt konden we aan de hand van de miniatuur elementen exact zien hoe het er in “het echt” uit kwam te zien.
De werkelijkheid overtrof onze verwachting! Na een aantal weekjes werd de bank ruim op tijd aan huis geleverd, netjes in elkaar gezet en precies naar wens in de woonkamer geplaatst.
We kozen voor de kleur roest uni en door de stof blend deze heel mooi in onze kleurrijke woonkamer. Het is een ware eyecatcher, die toch door zijn elegantie subtiel overkomt!
