We are 4x6 sofa – the specialist in modular sofas and a young brand with an online store and showroom in Naarden, near Amsterdam. Our office is also located next to the showroom. 4x6 sofa is a young Dutch brand that received an FD Gazellen Award in 2022, 2023, and 2024 for being the fastest-growing company in the Netherlands. Our concept is clear and simple: 6 models, 24 colors, and fixed prices – a concept that makes choosing a sofa easy, but above all, fun. All 6 of our models are now modular, making us the leading modular sofa specialist in the Benelux.

What will you be doing? 

Together with the team, you'll work daily to increase website traffic. You'll collaborate on projects and take on specific responsibilities to boost traffic through SEO and social media. This includes optimizing website content, analyzing and improving the customer journey, creating social videos, and researching and launching new social media channels like Pinterest and TikTok. With your commercial perspective, you'll also contribute ideas for increasing color sample requests and ultimately acquiring new customers. For example, could email flow be optimized, or do you know a way to reach new target groups? If you have a good idea, get started!

You'll also contribute to the creative development of cross-media marketing campaigns and our editorial calendar. We also regularly host photo and content shoots, for which you'll either assist or take charge of the camera yourself. You'll also be responsible for community management and working to grow our follower count according to established KPIs.

In short: a highly varied internship where you'll work both operationally and strategically, gaining extensive practical experience in marketing. This will prepare you as a marketing professional and help you discover where your talents lie.

    do you recognize yourself in this? 

    • you are following a higher professional education course in, for example, Marketing, Commercial Economics or Communication & Multimedia Design;
    • you are available for at least 4 months, and you work at least 3 days a week (Naarden location);
    • you have an affinity with interior design and you are also spontaneous, enthusiastic and independent;
    • good communication skills and mastery of the Dutch language;
    • Knowledge of social media and editing programs such as InDesign and Canva is an advantage, but not required.
