What to do in case of damage or a complaint

Is there something wrong with your sofa or are you not completely satisfied? We'd be happy to resolve it with you.

Use the button below to fill out the service form, preferably as soon as possible and within the warranty period.

Upon receipt, we will carefully examine the issue. If it concerns a material or manufacturing defect, we will provide a suitable solution. This could include replacing parts, repairing it, or, if necessary, exchanging it. We always strive to reach a good and quick solution together.

Your sofa is fully custom-made and handcrafted based on your specific order. Therefore, returns are only possible in exceptional cases and after prior approval from our customer service.

Do you wish to return a product? Please contact us at service@4x6sofa.com within 14 days of delivery. Please include your order number and the reason for the return.

Return conditions

The items must not have been used. If they have been used, we reserve the right to apply a reduction in value to the refund amount.

Return costs

Returning sofas and elements incurs costs:

  • €175 per element for the first 2 elements
  • €100 per additional element from the 3rd element onwards
  • Loose cushions: 50% of the purchase price

Transport and costs

Previously incurred delivery costs are not refunded. The costs for return transport are borne by the customer and are equal to the original delivery costs.

Product condition

The product must be complete (including all accessories) and in its original condition. Returns are preferably made in the original packaging. If you no longer have it or it is damaged, we may charge costs for repackaging, cleaning, and/or repair work.

Refund

After receipt and inspection of the return shipment, the
due amount will be refunded within 14 days, minus:

  • return costs
  • any depreciation in value
  • any repair or packaging costs

 Outlet and showroom models

Outlet sofas and showroom models cannot be returned.

warranty

4x6 sofa offers a standard 30-month warranty on its products. The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects under normal use.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not apply to:

  • normal wear and tear
  • damage resulting from incorrect or insufficient maintenance
  • incorrect assembly or setup deviating from the user manual
  • discoloration, transfer, or damage caused by other materials or objects
  • stains from food, liquids, or other use-related influences

Product Characteristics

Our sofas are handmade. As a result, slight variations in dimensions may occur. A deviation of up to 2 cm in height and depth per element is within the product specifications and is not considered a defect.

Use with Pets

Our products are not designed for use by pets. Damage caused by pets (such as scratches, hair, odors, or soiling) is not covered by the warranty.

Outlet and Showroom Models

For outlet sofas and showroom models, a warranty period of 12 months applies (with the exception of defects known at the time of purchase).
