A bench on legs in black metal and extra cushions for comfort
With its soft extra cushions in the back, black metal leg and sleek seat, this sofa has a contemporary look that fits very well in a country house. The sofa looks a bit more modern but the loose cushions guarantee a very comfortable seat. The double row of cushions and the slightly higher seat make it a little easier to sit upright in this sofa. The backrest is also slightly higher, giving you the right support in your back.
A comfortable sofa for a lovely lazy evening, especially in combination with the matching footstool so you can also sit with your legs at the same height forward. It's also nice to choose a contrasting fabric for the footstool. For example, the sofa in cotton and the hocker in the same color velvet. Or ochre yellow in combination with a beige blend. Anything is possible.
Sofa for a country interior in taupe, grey or a warm colour?
A natural material such as cotton for upholstery fabric feels very fine and familiar. The 4x6 SOFA cotton consists of 85% cotton and 15% polyester materials. This mix has been deliberately chosen to guarantee the right quality. All 24 fabrics we select have a Martindale of at least 35,000. This means that these fabrics are also suitable for use in public spaces. Strong fabrics, but cotton remains a natural product. And just like other natural products (think of wood and wine), cotton is not 100% identical on every roll. That's why we always make the sofa from one and the same roll of fabric to prevent colour differences. Do you ever plan to order a matching hocker or loveseat? If so, it's best to order a matching hocker or loveseat at the same time as your sofa so that the furniture is made from the same roll of fabric. The composition with 15% polyester also improves the light fastness of the fabric. Keep in mind that dark colours are always slightly more sensitive to light than light colours. In terms of pilling, the fabric is comparable to a polyester quality. It is important that you never rub dirt and stains but always dab with water and a white cotton towel.
Maintenance of your sofa
Before use, spray the sofa once with a fibre protector to stop the worst dirt. We like to work with the Protexx fibre protector ourselves. They offer a 3 year staining service for 25,-/seat. By the way, you can loosen the covers of the seat and back cushions of model X3 and have them chemically cleaned.
Would you prefer a polyester fabric for your corner sofa? In addition to cotton, 4x6 SOFA sells this corner sofa in 23 other colours and fabrics. For example in a dark green velour, ochre yellow uni or a taupe blend. The price of all 24 colours always remains the same. This also applies to other versions of this model, such as the 4-seater sofa, the footstool, the three-seater and the love seat. All available in the same 24 colours.
N.B. Good to know that all 4x6 SOFA sofas come with a 3 year manufacturer's warranty. Both on the construction and on the quality of the fabric (assuming normal use).

wat is de levertijd voor de banken? We hebben 12-16 weken nodig om je ideale bank te maken. Als je bank in ons magazijn is aangekomen, nemen we contact met je op en gaat het transportbedrijf je bellen voor het maken van en bezorgafspraak. Ze bezorgen je bank dan binnen 2 weken. Mocht je je bank niet binnen 2 weken kunnen ontvangen, dan kunnen we je bank opslaan voor €12,50 per week.
- Kunnen jullie onze oude bank ook meenemen? Tegen een meerprijs van €100,- neemt de transporteur je oude bank mee. Het is belangrijk dit wel vooraf aan te geven zodat de transporteur ruimte voor de bank kan reserveren in zijn wagen. De oude bank mag niet zo vies zijn of onder de honden/kattenharen zitten dat de bezorgers daar hinder bij ondervinden bij de bezorging van volgende, nieuwe, banken.
- Kunnen jullie onze bank opslaan? we houden je bank 2 weken kosteloos in onze opslag. Mocht je je je bank langer bij ons in opslag willen houden, dan rekenen we daar €12,50 per WEEK voor . Dit zijn vaste kosten die ons magazijn ons 1 op 1 doorberekend.
- Bezorgen jullie ook 's avonds of op weekend dagen? We bezorgen helaas niet in de weekenden en avonden. Omdat we door het hele land rijden proberen we zo slim mogelijk de ritten te combineren. De transporteur neemt contact op om de bezorgafspraak te maken.
- Kan ik de zitbank ook zelf op komen halen? Het is zeker mogelijk om zelf de zitbank op te halen in ons magazijn in Amsterdam. We rekenen hiervoor €25,- voor handling- en administratiekosten. Houd er in dat geval rekening mee dat onze banken verzekerd zijn totdat de bank het magazijn heeft verlaten. De zitbanken zijn goed verpakt in plastic en karton. Een driezitsbank weegt ongeveer 60 kilo. een hoekbank bestaat uit 2 pakketten: 1 pakket weegt ongeveer 45 kilo. De afmetingen verschillen per bank en kun je nakijken op de product pagina.
